Lengite, by KingsOfEvilArt |
This collection of crude stone houses is inhabited by the Men of Leng. The village is a place of trade and commerce, the presence of the Agents is tolerated, as long as they have something interesting to offer and don't disturb the peace.
At the periphery of the village the Men of Leng keep prisoners in large wooden cages, humans and other creatures.
Encounters
- Black Galley: A black ship, commanded by a group of Moon-beasts, descends from the sky. They are there to take away the prisoners from the stone village. In their eagerness to placate the Moon-beasts the Men of Leng want to add one of the Agents to their offering.
- The Trader: A merchant from Lelag-Leng, their face hidden under a cloth mask, is interested in hiring one of the Agents as a courtesan. They offer valuable rubies and silk in exchange. If the Agent refuses the trader becomes angry and begins stalking them.
- Cat of Ulthar: Among the imprisoned creates at the edge of the village is a cat in a small wooden cage. It communicates telepathically with any Agent in its vicinity. It promises to guide the them over the plateau to their destination using safe and hidden paths, if they free it.
- Soldiers: At the outskirts of the village is an encampment of the Tadjbegskye Bratva. They are armed with weapons from the Soviet-Afghan war in the 1980s, including a BMP-1 IFV. One of their members is wounded after a confrontation with a Shantak bird. If an Agent with medical skill helps, the Russian gangsters show their gratitude by providing the Agents with heavy weapons and ammunition. While interacting with the Tadjbegskye it becomes clear that they are the main provider of human slaves to the Men of Leng.
